Gary graduated from The Citadel, The Military College of South Carolina with a degree in Civil Engineering. While at the Citadel, Gary was a member of the Pistol, Sailing and Rugby Teams. Gary is a Life Member of the NRA and has a lifetime NC hunting license. He enjoys hunting deer and turkey in Coastal North Carolina.
